Working with our client, Egg Strategy, an international brand consultancy, we devised an interactive data collection, reporting and visualization engine for tracking consumer brand interactions and brand affinities. A combination of influences from the concept of Noel Brier’s popular BrandTags with 
the Brand Timeline Portrait showing brand usage 
at different times of the day. Adding the ability 
to register and control the collection of data 
and customizable reporting, the net result is a unique and powerful tool Egg can add to their consulting arsenal.

IDEAS

Dubbed BrandedLife, Egg Strategy now has the ability to follow the brand interactions from highly specialized groups for various projects and clients, as well as look at aggregate data in an interesting visual way.

The most popular brands are displayed closest to the center. Likability is indicated with intensity of colour and the larger the size, the more impressions that brand has had.

It’s simple and quick for users to enter in the names of the brands they encounter throughout the day and indicate whether the brand encounter was one they wanted to have or needed to have.

WORK

Though only recently deployed, the client has implemented Branded Life with focus groups to supplement their brand affinity research for current clients, and also as a means to enhance presentations to potential clients. With promising initial results, further refinement and enhanced functionality is currently underway.
