Turns out this is actually some kind of stealth advertising effort. This from Adcritic:
In a nifty under-the-radar effort for Stride gum, a dude named Matt has danced his way across the world, performing his distinctive jig in front of some of the most exotic locales around the globe. Best of all, the Stride branding is practically nonexistent?you wouldn’t even know this was a marketing effort unless you did some digging.
