After trying a variety of different organizational tools I’m trying out a software tool called Thinking Rock. it uses a very simple interface that follows a ‘Get Things Done‘ philosophy of time management.
The general approach to the GTD system is to not follow priorities blindly and concentrate on what is most important to you.

I didn’t know you were a GTD guy. (Not that I walk around asking people.) I looked at ThinkingRock too, and while I thought it was neat, I wanted something that I could port around with me and use at every computer I sit at.
I finally settled on NextAction.
It’s a browser application, so it’ll run anywhere. I save it to my USB stick and plug it in at work, at home, wherever. It’s kind of slow, but it’s been pretty reliable…

that’s for the tip, NextAction looks great. I’m a big fan of portable apps that work in the browser.
