My friend Colin sent me a link to this website with a post title “Mark Busse is a slacker”. My first thought was, “Busted — someone’s on to me.” until I realized it was a clever online viral campaign to promote AMC’s series Breaking Bad, a story about a high school chemistry teacher who realizes he’s been wasting his life after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. His reaction? A complete meltdown as he abandons his old life to run away and start his own drug lab. I wonder how my friend thought this related to my life? I sort of already run my own drug lab. Kidding!

This is one of the best virals I’ve ever seen. It’s almost as good, or maybe as good, as the viral for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming blockbuster “The Dark Knight” this being one of my favorite campaigns.

I can’t wait to see what they’re going to do after Heath Ledger’s sudden death, since the viral campaigns relied completely on “The Joker” character.

Well, it’s basically recycling the concept from the viral campaign for ‘Snakes on a Plane’ which was put out almost two years ago.
I also saw the show and after 30 minutes moved on. Not that engaging and I couldn’t figure out what was going on. The relationship between the campaign and the show was absent at best.
