Feeling a little lazy these days, and fat. As a result my thoughts have been to sitting around, and what better way to do it than in something called the Fatboy. Fatboy is a modern take on the old school bean bag. Feeling extra stylish, go for one in a funky Marimekko print. Functional and comfortable, these seem rather the antithesis of the emerging Vulgarism movement.

Oh, goodness. Beanbag chair nostalgia/desire meets design obsession (and Finnish heritage)! Looking at Marimekko’s products is enough to make me want to switch careers. I do find the Fatboy a little too chair-like for my taste… and a little too wild for my living room, but definitely not too comfy!
That vulgarism stuff looks straight out of the film adaptation of the Return to Oz.
