Excellent commentary on partnerships! It is indeed an easy thing to get into, but extremely difficult to get out of. And breaking partnerships often involves ending friendships, which is another one of those hard truths. It is so hard to make things right, but they can go wrong in a big hurry.

Great article! Congrats on the new site-launch, by the way.

This is an issue that's been a trial-and-error process for myself as well. Do you find others with similar competencies who aid in the clear focus of the organization, or expand outward with a greater range of offerings? I often find the root of the issue lies in the vision of the agency. A good vision hopefully makes this decision easy (i.e. does this addition help further the vision, or run the risk of straying farther from it?). All a learning process I suppose :)
