How does one improve their vocabulary AND help end world hunger? FreeRice.com is a site I came across a few months ago from a friend and I’ve always regretted not posting this sooner. The concept is simple: For each multiple-choice vocabulary question you get right, they donate 20 grains of rice to help end hunger. John Breen launched freerice.com in October 2007 and has now generated 20 billion grains of rice to the U.N. World Food Program. It’s fun, you learn and contribute to a great cause.
