Every year Design Within Reach, purveyors of sweet, expensive modern furniture hold a contest to see who can design the coolest chair out of the champagne corks left over from new year’s drinking binges. Grand prize went to Miwa Kleyla’s Block B Chair which would be cool in any living room if it weren’t just a few inches big. Don’t hold your breath for the real thing any time soon, but who knows.
