Catching up on TV from the ‘good old days’

Of recent I have been watching shows that I watched when I was younger, they are all dated but are quite wonderful to watch again. Here is a rundown, check them out:

The new Statesman:  The New Statesman was an award-winning British sitcom of the late 1980s and early 1990s satirising the Conservative government of the time. It’s somewhat sexist, racist and chauvinistic but wonderfully English. Check out this classic clip on youtube.

The A Team: I grew up on this, loved it. I love the punching, they hit people once and they go down – love it. Here is a clip of the title sequence.

Alan Partridge: Classic, 90′s, Intelligent, awkward but wonderful. This is a great clip from the first series (if your a farmer don’t watch) – watch here.

Since finding these clips  I have also been reminded of Airwolf and Knight Rider – they will be next on my list to watch.
