While going through my 1000 or so unread RSS feeds this morning I came across something worth sharing, and hopefully of some interest, for some of you out there. I’m not a huge fan of the PowerPoint/Keynote/etc world but it’s sometimes a necessary evil. I don’t have either on my computer and there are moments when I need to fire off a presentation quickly and don’t want to succumb to my usual suspect, InDesign. Enter 280 Slides, which is essentially an online app emulating PowerPoint. The interface is similar and when you’re done you can export to PowerPoint format. Throw in some typical 2.0 functions (import from Flickr and Youtube) and an array of publishing / export options and this little app might just fill my software gap!
